I always thought that Creme Brulee is an exquisite kind of dessert and can only be made in the restaurant. The game has just been changed - All you need is Instant Pot, Kitchen Torch and ramekins (which are great for portion control btw).
6 egg yolks
¼ cup sugar (3 Tablespoons) – You don’t want it too sweet, since you will have another layer of caramelized sugar on top.
2 cups heavy cream (500ml) I used a pint (473ml) and it worked fine.
2 teaspoons vanilla
Pinch of salt
Optional:
Sugar for caramelizing
Kitchen torch
For Pumpkin Creme Brulee - Add: ½ can Pumpkin puree to the egg mixture ¼ tsp Ground nutmeg, ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon and ¼ tsp ground ginger. and follow the precise instructions below. When ready to caramelize, you can add some crushed pecans to the sugar for unforgettable caramelized pecans on top of Pumpkin Creme Brulee
