Starting by browning lots of lamb meat pieces ( l like to use neck) in the large pot w spices ( cumin , хмели-сунели, coriander , sumac , chili powder , bay leaf salt pepper ) for about 10-15 min . Then adding chopped onions , shredded carrots , continue for 10 min longer
Then in goes 3-4 tbsp of tomato paste , stir , cover , cook for an hour
Fill the pot w water or stock , add whole onion carrot celery parsley root , bring to boil ,season w salt pepper and cook 2-2.5 hour until meat falling of the bones
Add rice cook for 20 min ,add chopped cilantro , chopped garlic and 1cup chopped walnuts,bring to boil and done
Serve w more cilantro , slice of lemon
